Semi Final 1 Mustang Memorial 2023 - 1:64 diecast racing tournament

A competition only for '65 Ford Mustang Fastback diecast cars. These custom cars are racing for pink slips and raising money for the Paw Justice New Zealand animal welfare charity
This is the first semi-final and the big change here is only one driver from each group will be moving on!
The new track is longer, with more twists and turns than the previous track, plus there is live traffic to deal with!

Hard to pick a best in show they all look so good in this pick. I have to go with Shotty though that's a great looking car. I really like the more detail they put in lights trim ect. Those louvers look so nice on that car. I would really like to see them on a carousel to see all sides front and back though. Fantastic racing lots of action and surprises this go around. Hate to see those lose out but that's what racing is who moves on and his luck to those that did.

That was fantastic and absolutely CAR-RAZY racing out of that 1st group! Crickey! Awesome battles from group 2 for positions. Amazing stuff! Schotty gets my vote for Best in show. Round 1 Race 3 is mental; a real Hollywood ending for Patrick. 5:10 Patrick does a donut through the corner, and straightens up for the final straight; great, if unorthodox, car control.

Thanks. Yeah, dismal performance, though car was build for old track/jump etc, I tried a couple of things, which did not click as it seems. Thought the car on an orange drag strip is quite quick for 37ish gms. Cheers
