I ❤ Chaoseum and just booked tickets for Baltimore only to find out later it's a Tarja show with Chaoseum as a special guest. Tarja is pretty new to me. How much of Chaoseum can I expect to see? I love Chaoseum so much I'm driving 5 hours solo just to see them play!

They're not a tribute band, they have their own sound, they just sound really similar because the genre is the same and ck has a similar vocal cord arrangement as Jonathan does, but their style is totally different, plus the solos that Loic and Valery pull off are their own style, and Greg's drum skills are pretty damn crazy, listen closely to any of their songs, make sure you use earbuds or headphones, and you'll see, kudos to you tho for liking nu metal, on last thing, in an interview of ck with @thenobodies he does admit that Korn had a very strong influence on him and also a reason he likes the genre

And by the way this band does guitar solos. I dont recall Korn having any. Ck's growl is different than Jonathan's and so is his clean. It is definitely not the same nor is it a rip off.
