@HonestDepression1018 ай бұрын
If you like metal I want to suggest that three albums by bands that you might be into. These are bands that play a progressive black metal altho they are much more accessible then the majority of black metal. And instead of being "evil" or having lyrics that explore satanic themes or misanthropic topics these three band play unique styles that mix in bittersweet meloncholic sounds and extremely catchy and well written epic sounds. All three break with the traditional type of black metal and instead have a sort of uplifting way of writing songs. Deafheaven-New Burmuda Këkht Aräkh-Pale Swordsman Ghâsh-Goat
@HonestDepression1018 ай бұрын
@rockk9753 yes! I agree! Black Metal has a much wider range of emotion than most other styles of metal. Some Black metal has everything from epic upbeat and almost Triumphant highs, to atmospheric and moody, to sorrowful and meloncholic longing to raging and defiant. Pretty much the entire range of human emotions with only a couple exceptions. But I feel like those exceptions are so well represented in other forms of music that we are not missing anything by their absence. Black metal in a lot of ways is the Philosophical or "Thinking Man's Metal". Not all of BM fits this description obviously (lookin at YOU War Metal aka Beastial Black Metal!) But some of its best bands embody such a description.

This video touches on an issue I have with north American healthcare. If someone is restrained in a straight jacket and locked in a room, why tranquilize them too? Like the mentally ill are treated worse than prisoners but prisoners actually committed crimes. A prisoner only gets subdued when they become physically reckless and they have the benefit of being tased rather than being knocked unconscious.
@kennethloki70113 жыл бұрын
@@Steve76777 I typed a huge reply but deleted it. Sorry, I don't want to get into all that. The very simple answer is that it prevents injuries. Whether it is staff on duty or patient, it prevents injuries. Anything else is a different problem all together and a conversation that will never be properly had in a KZbin comments section but I'm sure you're aware of that.
@Steve767773 жыл бұрын
@@kennethloki7011 I respect that. But a genuine question I have is if they are by themselves and already physically restrained, what injury risk is there?
