Secondly the memes you put in of mother Gothel were spot on I was thinking her mother treated her like that this whole time you could just see how badly Penelope yearned to be a part of a loving family to have a supportive mother and sisters who were actually kind to her it’s why she enjoyed talking to Eloise & Colin cause at least they listened to what she had to say ( when El wasn’t in her own world) so she longed for that family unit long before she truly became a bridgerton
