I'm not sure what I'm missing. i've tried to do exactly as shown in the video, but my divisions are just a bit better than breaking even. Same tank build, same tempaltes, invested in air on Poland but I have lost 120K men to Poland's 150K.

This is the true way to play a WWII game. I saw that a lot of KZbinrs thought that that they are good at the game but they still relied so much on pushing with infantry like WWI.

It's hard to go wrong with the Wilhelmshaven --> Hull route. You have an extra sea zone to get through but Britain tends to focus most of its naval efforts on the Channel. My first time trying a Sealion went amazingly well, although it might be because I was playing ahistorical. I tried to go with diplomacy to take back the Reich's land, so I didn't trigger the war with Britain, which was going monarchist. So Japan went after Malaya and Britain sent its navy into a Pacific meat grinder. Britain finished dealing with its marriage crisis, losing its dominions but forming a new faction with China and the Jimma Sultanate, which had just rebelled against Italy. My panzer brigades were already tied up in the Horn of Africa putting down the rebellion and I was getting worried that they would get pushed into the sea by what seemed like a full army group of British colonial troops, so I set up the invasion while trying to cut off the southern African front between Portugal's colonies. And yeah, somehow despite having only the starting capital ships and two wings of naval bombers, I managed to form a beachhead around Hull and bring in the rest of an infantry army. The hardest part was getting my war score up without losing troops so that I wouldn't have to deal with Japanese-occupied territories in the British Isles.
