Wow. The story progression in this game, the meanings behind every phrase, from first to last, even the mundane year 9999 reference in the beginning that explains why there's a moon based prison... Throw in the Divine Comedy references, the built in jokes, and even the use of lunar cycles for prison puzzles... I hope whoever made this game has a great life, because this story just made my day. They deserve an applaud for this. Amazing commentary, also.

Damn.. This game is deep. People will do anything for money. So it's pretty cool how the maker of the game said that it's not worth it. If you saw a person dropping a 100 dollars, would you give it back? I have to over think my reaction to it after watching this game.
@Mahnoorx10 жыл бұрын
Rancid Potatoe When my brother was 8 years old, he found 100 euro's in the bus. He then picked it up and asked to a person nearby if he dropped it. He ofcourse said yes and took the money. He later on proudly told it to my mom. My mom was dissaointed thhat he didn't kept it. Well it's her fault for saying that you should always give back if you see something that isn't yours. What I meant with that story is that most people are selfish. When they find money they will keep it. So that's why I found it so cool that the maker of the game is saying that being good to others is more important than stuff like money. I hope that whenever I drop something you will pick it up and give it back :p.

LaXMustage If I find money I keep it, if I find a wallet I check for a way to identify the owner and deliver it at the police station (as you are supposed to here). 2:11 ... some guy that gets punished for his sins by showing him multiple deaths of a woman he liked caled maria? never heard that one before. but seriously i think the setting is the best in this game... the actual story was of course shocking, but actually the "human=evil" thing isnt that creative anymore and a story about something like a torture device for your mind sounds cool but isnt that well executed when you just throw it in in the last second. i think the dialoges are a bit flat... nearly all of them sound like i heard them somewhere before but after all for a game made by a single person its pretty good

I think the first two trials with the Rot and the War were supposed to be the "rehabilitation program." The inmates would be stuck in those areas until they learned their lesson and would move onto the next section, the book crossing out the word showing that they completed it. Once they cleared all the 7 Deadly Sins their sentence would be over. But Williams hi-jacked it to personally torture Aaron.

They certainly did "bleed". One could theorize all day why they bled - or one looks at a more likely explanation: It was some kind of reddish-brown fluid. For example, gasoline. Seeing as gasoline was lying around in that place, it is no big leap to assume that gasoline runs through those cables.

I couldn't have said it better myself. This game had a lot of potential to be a heartwrencher, one of those games that makes you hate but empathize with the protagonists and antagonist(s) alike. I think that's what horror is really about - seeing how far you can push the boundaries of human nature. This game, for me, goes beyond even sympathy for any of the characters. It just left me going "What? ._. " at the end. I understand WHAT happened. I just really don't understand why. At all.

Basically you were a prisoner punished for knowing about williams killing his wife, maria (the same one throughout the story), and to punish you he puts you in an artificial world full of torture and when williams makes the AI, or artificial intelligence, which is vergil controling the ship mad, vergil lets you out and you take revenge on williams at the cost of your own life. Vergil was turned off because williams wanted to contact earth and turning off the ai would help do that.

I'm not saying the missed translation made this game bad. I'm saying people should stop expecting it to be better than something made by Squaresoft and flipping tables cos there's a few typos in it. Well, that was an interesting take on parts of Dante's Inferno. I'm glad he decided to focus the theme on the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse rather than just make a complete re-telling. The whole "Overture", "Knowledge" and "Truth" thing was quite ingenious as well since it marked the stages that Aaron was progressing through in kind of a pseudo "Hero's Journey" if you will. However, the ending was kind of anti-climactic.
