Chaparral 270 OSX - 2023 Walk Through

Chaparral is re-writing the rules on outboard boating. The 270 OSX is a trendsetter in design, performance, and function. The helm features a glass dash with dual touch screen Simrad displays. The cockpit is open, and spacious and features a multi-position sun lounger aft. The open-concept design carries forward into the bow area which features hinged storage beneath luxuriously appointed upholstery. Chaparral went to great lengths to create a powerful and agile craft that glides through the water with minimal noise. The 270 OSX was designed with the most advanced technology afloat today. Our Standard Dual 7" inch Simrad touchscreen displays with controls are NMEA compatible and offer navigation, engine management, full gauge compliment, and can be customized to your personal preferences. The interior of the 267 SSX Outboard was designed with an open concept atmosphere. Luxurious contoured SiO™ Silicone upholstery lines the perimeter seating around the cockpit and storage is concealed beneath. Stereo speakers, stainless beverage holders, and safety rails are concealed out of the way, yet easily accessible. On the port side, an L-shaped seat perfect for entertaining and can also accommodate a cockpit table.

270? my 2017 246 SSI has the exact same capacity plate, 14 people or 2006 lbs. My boat is only 24.5'. How does this larger boat not have more carrying capacity?
