10 minutes later, after reading several comments, I STILL have misty eyes because of this song and its message. My daddy was a daddy don't. He was there but he never showed the emotion depicted in this video. That being said, I DO have a Daddy Do. He is my Heavenly Father who does all these things and more. Your song reminds me of that. Very powerful and emotional song for me. Thank you Chapel Hart. Follow Jesus, ladies, and He will direct your paths. God bless.

Awesome song. My daddy, a dry land cotton farmer, ( mom by his side), worked from dawn to dusk providing for his 4 girls. My mom was ordering some white go go boots from Sears catalog (60's fashion) for my little sister & daddy said order all of them a pair. I'll never forget that. He gave me $100 to buy a wedding dress in 1972 ( lot of money back then). After he had been in hospital & finally got to come home, he called me at work and thanked me for sitting with him at the hospital. He's been gone 12 years now. 😢

This is really a lesson for all fathers & mother's...if you choose to become parents, you take on the responsibility to take care of your children in sickness & health, the good & bad, etc. Which means you don't murder your kids no matter how crazy they drive you. You don't go out on a date and have fun because you're sick of helping your kids with homework. & you teach your kids right from wrong, to respect people & their rights, & take them to church & teach them about God & the Bible. You might not be the perfect parent, but in the end when your kids are adults, they will respect you & thank you for sticking with them! I pray for all parents!
