I think because they are independent they pay for everything themselves they pay for producers, writers, directors, tour bus, airfare videos etc its all coming out of their pockets the label on the other hand would fron the money and they would pay back the label and most likely end up broke and indebted to the label even more ...So it may take some time to get revenue stream.... doing it independently, but once they start making money it's all theirs...
