Obsessing over your same gender best friend was definitely what happened to me and I'm sure everyone but me understood what was really going on. The only time I got called out on it was once their family went on vacation for about a week and I must have left more than a normal amount of messages on their answering machine that week. I remember being questioned about it later by both of her parents and really had no idea what they were upset/concerned about...

But also it's 100% reasonable and expected to ask stuff like "how's the tour going with olivia" or "how has it been opening for such huge shows", etc. But to be like "isnt it so great how olivia does this and that for her shows" doesnt open the conversation to chappell, it's kind of just asking her to gush about another artist
