My hope in my lifetime is to locate Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan's remains to bring closure not only to her ancestors but to all of those who loved and missed them so. Every human being deserves this, especially in the eyes of our Lord. ❤❤

Amelia HAS NOT been FOUND! Nor has her plane. TIGARD is totally nuts! You show is awesome! Now IF we could only get someone like Paul Allen's ship/crew to go look; We know where she SHOULD BE! I'll have a youtube up soon on Amelia

(1:27) Gore Vidal was 12 years old when she died in 1937. I know his dad was a big shot in aviation but I doubt he would be walking around with Earhart like that?

@kevin... Amelia had an affair with Gore Vidal's father...her husband, George Putnam, demanded she end it. She did, and went back to Putnam. She was close to Gore... As a native Kansan, I attended one of the thousands of schools named after Earhart. Her legacy, accomplishments, and family history are (or used to be) taught from early grades. I think she was as good a flyer as any during her lifetime...including Lindbergh. Of course, she never embraced the Nazis and eugenics as Lindbergh did. I've always admired her...still do. Whether they find her or not, it doesn't matter. What matters is she tried. What matters is how she lived her life. That's enough for me.

@@searcher9572 you sound keen... I am hoping you can believe me.... I have spent a year trying to tell the world about a maths calculation Or error calculation that clearly computes as an 8km sandbar where they ran out of fuel Are you able to see my problem..it was only useful at super low tide... And it was super low but rising when she landed. I can send info

@@searcher9572 great...ok...I found..the original transmission and computed all the likely Morse code errors All results were deep water except for 1 result. That 1 result was a huuuuuge sandbar approx 6 miles of sand....

When she crashed in HNL on her west bound first try her safety pilot paul mantz and radio man henry manning quit for own safety. Putnam sent her out without them. That is what a mistake. She could not receive hf communication or operate low freq navigation. That Leaves vhf comm only. That works only within about 150 miles which means she was not that close. They seem to have got the long right but an error in latitude. At this point the alternate is all that is left. Gardner. The Itasca was out of oil so could not reach her even if they knew she was there which they probably did. They had to have heard the sos calls for help but could not log them and risk embarrassment. This scenario makes most sense considering all the information we have. Humans can live only about 8 days without water in heat. Noonan was withoit booze and badly injured so might have perished sooner.

That is very sad. I do wonder if sometimes Putnam sent her without the proper things on purpose because there were roomers at the time that she was going to divorce him after the flight. But then again, I have found evidence that they had a healthy (ish) marriage and really loved one another very much.

And important thing neither Amelia or Fred know Morse Code or CW as it known and didn’t know how radio equipment operate It was disaster’s from End to sadly End.

Reasonable explanation is that they knew they only had an hour's fuel left so they took the alternate. Newnan would have navigated South to a sunline.157337 and then turn south for gardner. Because if they couldn't locate destination they were dead.

She was famous for going the opposite way when her Navigator would tell her the right way to go, and on her last trip she decided to leave her safety equipment behind. That's women's lib for ya.
