How to change your needle bar and needles.
At this point I have been fooling around with these machines for years, and have to remind myself that our educational content is supposed to focus on training new operators.

How do you know how far the needle should stick out at the bottom?

Bring the nipple up to its highest point. Your needle should be just above the surface of the fabric. Adjust the height from there after making a few test stitches.

Are needle bars generic?
