Welcome to the first chapter in the second book in The Numbers! series! The Numbers: Greater than the Sum of their Parts!
Well, it all began with a thought, or should I say, the title randomly popping into my head! I was walking along a lovely river at the time seeing all that nature had to offer, and that's what inspired me to write a Numbers! book based around the environment! Here, in chapter 1, some strange numbers on the board at Science Park are flashing... They're saying there's a problem with the environment... And if you take a deep breath and take a glance over the town from the giant rubbish heap that's grown since the numbers came to be in order, you could certainly tell there's a whiff of bad gas in the air...
