The gaslighting after THEY cheat is crazy. A marriage with a narcissist leaves crazy PTSD. The control,gaslighting, belittling, and trauma is so real. The threatening when you want to leave is something I won’t ever forget. It took me YEARS to leave but I did with all 3 of my kids and I’m sooooo proud of myself for it. It takes a lot to heal but it’s something you can definitely do. Starting over is scary especially with kids figuring out your new life and your children’s new life. I’m sorry you went through something like this

Hey Bella, thank you for sharing your story, especially for us who haven’t taken the next step to get married. It’s such great advice. I found you on TikTok and came straight to the KZbin because I did realize you kind of disappeared from KZbin and I hope you do know that You’re beautiful. your successful woman and you are enough. Those kids are so lucky to have you and I know you said you don’t want anything but please do not even pay back the Mehr money and when they do the family meetings, please try and keep the house even if you don’t want it you can sell it and get another house a better house And add advise you to see a therapist as well. It really helps, I lived with a narcissistic sister and that’s a long story but I resisted therapy before a long time and now it helps a lot. ❤️ thank you for sharing your story, I’ve noticed that all the peoplewho are not married have marriage phobia, 🤣 And I don’t know where we will go from here because that’s scary, again and again thank you for sharing your story 🤗 I love you, For The Sake Of Allah, and may Allah always bless and protect you

My advice would be to anyone trying to get married to make sure you do it in the halal way and try and involve your family so they can vet the guy. Sometimes we can get carried away with emotions and people can pick up on the things we can’t. I wouldn’t say wait for a specific age just try and do your research on the person.
