You should build a 40 card deck. I was rolling around with 60 and getting beat up all the time until I cut all the colored cards except for 1 fireball in my Red Tron deck to turn it into an Alpha 40 style artifact ante deck. Now I'm winning almost all my games. With 60 cards I always have to use white as one of my colors otherwise I run out of answers before I get a chance to win.

I've played a 40 card green stompy deck at the start btw. It's def good and way more consistant, but it's not just about winning for me. I'm challenging myself to make a 60 card green deck. Having red as my back-up colour.

The Blights in your collection got me thinking... Golgari Enchantress Land Destruction. 4 Ankhs, 4 Enchantress, 4 Paralyze, 4 Blight, 4 Sinkhole, 4 Ice Storm, etc. Attack their lands, hurt them when they do play them, and then whittle them down with Black Vise and Factories. 🤔

You could also add cursed lands, warp artifacts, underworld dreams and wanderlust. Make it a 1 dmg deck. Add 4 mazes for protection..

@@TimmytheSorcerer There's a list on tappedout that has all the cards in Shandalar in it. I really wish it was 1 for 1 with the Oldschool forma but it still has pretty much the same feel too it.

If you're ok with Enchantress and red, you could try giant strength and manabarbs maybe? Not sure if they're in Shandalar

Not sure is mana barbs is, but giant strength is there. I’ll go on a search 👀

I think Mana Flare is actually the one I saw in the surge deck but there's 2 barbs in my Shandalar collection.

37:00 yeah unfortunately Enchantress is a “may” and not a “must” so you have to click on her, I had to build and play a enchantress deck in the deck builder to get used to clicking on her cause I ALWAYS forgot lol
