I’m pretty sure it’s just to add humor and change things up a bit. Seriously, there are only a few good animations with the critters. However, while making them fat adds a comedic aspect, there aren’t any morals learnt and the storylines with so many smiling critter animations are just horror stuff. Search up Catnap’s day off, animations like that are way better. P.S. The catnap x DogDay ships are disgusting. But if you see their relationship as platonic, it’s the best duo ever! IMO, of course, but please, spread the word: STOP DOGDAY X CATNAP SHIPS. P.S. 2: I don’t think anyone will read this.
