Point - to show how Saul’s character was quickly exposed by his position of leadership and to warn us against such presumption ourselves. Person - God is a revealer. The Great Controversy is all about revealing His character of selflessness, but this He does by contrasting Himself with others. Those who don’t allow Christ to be developed in their hearts will be exposed as proud failures. Practice - to understand that my position of leadership will expose my character and to thus rely on God, not myself. Prayer - Lord, protect me from my own pride, ambition and selfishness. Promise - When we follow God into battle, angels fight by our side. Word - RASH

God/Jesus Christ set me up for Spiritual Death from the beginning to the ending. I'm so disappointed in them.

God/Jesus Christ was very unkind to me. They created me an unbeliever and then set all odds against me to fail. They didn't want me to make it in and I'm so disappointed in them because I pleaded and begged with them and they yet couldn't open up my understanding so that I could pass the test?

I don't understand. You were born an unbeliever, but now you recognize that Jesus is Lord, but you are upset that you had to find it out the hard way?

@@derekriethmeier4366 You don't understand. Yes, I was born an Unbeliever and I'm still am unbeliever because I fail to pass the test to become a Believer. I tried with all my might. God/ Jesus Christ they never really cared about me. It hurts me so badly. Because I did just about everything to pass. Of course I error.

@@jeanmeullion6641 There is no test to pass with Jesus Christ, and I assure you that Jesus does care for you. It sounds to me like you sincerely seek a relationship with God, which is the first step. With prayer and reading His scriptures, God will help you overcome whatever sins you struggle with as time goes on--some will be easy to overcome, others will take years. But just because one stalk of wheat has not yet grown as tall as the other ones doesn't mean that it isn't a good plant. Each of us are at a different point in our walk with God. Paul was one of history's greatest missionaries, but in Romans 7 we see that even he struggled at times, yet I expect to see him in heaven some day.

@@derekriethmeier4366 I wish that was the case with me Derek. I really do. I'm 😲 shocked and amazed of how God/Jesus Christ treated me because I did all that you have written and even more. Jesus Christ is supposed to be our friend and that's what I really thought but I guess he's only a friend if God gave one to him otherwise he's not here to Rescue one and he told me that. I wish that he would have Never created me. I hate this Life and I hate that he ever created me because I gave him my everything and it's ultimate betrayal for me in the highest. God hated me and he created me an enemy instead of a friend.

@@jeanmeullion6641 I have friends and family members who have been slaves to drug addiction, lust/sexual issues, depression, etc. Some of them had their prayers answered right away--others had to wait years for deliverance. Why does God sometimes allow something to go on for years? I don't know the answer. In my case, I struggled with a particular sin for 10 years having prayed and fasted before He delivered me. I have a feeling that--and this is just for me--it was to show me that it wasn't by my own power that I obtained the victory. As long as you have breath in your lungs you have hope: "him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." Satan is the one trying to convince you to give up and that God doesn't like you. It is when you give up trying that Satan wins.
