lee dies are good so is the press . in my opinion the next step up is to a DILLON progressive if your into volume of reloads great for pistol rounds witch is what i have experience with. you can never go wrong measuring each powder charge by hand its slow but rifles like consistency with a little experimentation you can get most rifles to really shoot well on a hand load verse factory load .

I've used one of these for ever biggest issue is don't short stroke the operation it will try to put 2 primers in the case causing trouble .

Thank you. This is my first foray into reloading. Previously I had unlimited factory rounds through the department. But now I am pleased as punch and find this new hobby rewarding and mindful. I do have the latest Lee manual but the first half is advertising and the second half is a bit long in the tooth, for instance no Western 8 data. I am planning to buy a Lyman manual soon. Oh, I am keeping notes on each batch for sure. Thanks again.

Just because i didn't see one Get yourself a good reloading manual and treat it as your bible for what's should be safe in your rifles remembering the older the rifle the mor important to start with the lower published pressure loads. Keep records of you loads for future reference.
