Thank you Mahera and Doc Mansoor for putting a spotlight on lives of the local population living in such a harsh environment. Your vlog is so unique, others have briefly touched this most northern part of Pakistan and returned. Only in your vlog the audience gets to enjoy life in this beautiful corner of Pakistan. Doc’s book seems to be getting along, the cover of the book should have his picture amongst the mountains of Chapursan valley. Where is Hamid sb, didn’t see him in the vlog? I bet you those home grown wheat bread and eggs are just delicious. Architecture of homes in the area is different from normal Pakistani villages homes with skylights in the sitting area. It is great to see the new generation in this area so keen to get an education. Government should provide more educational scholarships and employment opportunities to the youth in the area. It was eye opening to see that people in Chapursan had to travel to the southern most city of Pakistan to seek medical attention. There need to be medical facilities in the area to alleviate people’s medical needs. If there is electricity supplied to each home, the government could also supply internet using electricity wires to each home. The young people instead of wasting their time sitting at home could use remote learning via internet to keep studying during COVID and find employment via the internet. Mahera your attempts to cut wheat was really brave. Harvesting like that puts intense pressure on the knees and lower back. I am amazed how sometimes they harvest the sharp wheat stalks without gloves. Wheat grown in this area have very shallow roots and can be easily plucked out like flowers. Wheat grown in Punjab needs a tractor to get the roots out of the ground. Hope you get to see the traders coming from Afghanistan and the barter trade. You can pluck the three different tea flowers, press them in a book and frame them on your wall. Have you guys tried Yak meat and butter yet or any of the local dishes? Pictures taken from Doc’s camera were really great. Looking forward to another cinematic treat. 👍

Ive been watching ur vlogs n loving it seriously...i like these places alot n went to battagram allai last yr. Its kinda away from tourists n everything there is so natural...we stayed there at our house helps home n love every bit of it...but the only problem is ive spiders phobia n these places have insects like anything.....i cant sleep the whole night just thinking about them if i saw them roaming around even once ...thats the only issue i face even though i literally cherish every memory while watching ur vlogs.... Jazakallah for uploading such a beautiful n natural content. Love u n doctor sahab.

Hello from southern tip of India. I’ve been following your travelogues from some time now. Thank you for sharing glimpses of northern areas, very beautiful place. Contrary to popular beliefs, it is heartening to see penetration of higher education in such remote areas. Keep these videos coming. Regards to Dr. Mansoor :)

This entire series has been outstanding. Nowhere near a professional myself, but must I say that everything including the videography, the storytelling, and the adventure itself is raw, pure, and back to the basics: unlike anything presented by the homesick millenial iPhone hobbyists who come without ever wanting to leave their comforts and the main highway behind, passively seeking the same old urban indulgences, getting fascinated only by the ordered architecture rather than the chaotic nature. Can't get enough 💙💙

Thank you! I’m not really interested in travel vlogging. This trip happened to be a holiday that I filmed a bit, and now sharing here for our group. Travelling to every corner of Pakistan would be a very difficult and time consuming endeavour for me just for the reason of bringing the countryside to the majority. There are already many KZbin channels bringing great content for consumption. But thanks anyways for your suggestion.
