We came down the Hunza River on a raft from Gulmit to Ghulkin on a bright sunny day. And thus began our journey back south.

Mahera the white-water rafting trip on the Hunza river amongst the black crumbling rocks up till Gulmit bridge was just marvelous. You guys did the rafting above the Attabad lake in Hunza river with its incredible scenery. I was impressed with the professionalism of your river guide. He gave a very professional presentation, pre-boarding and then the safety talk and constant guidance during the trip downriver was amazing. The river guide even provided water booties, so your own shoes were not spoiled by water. His instructions were on-point and very helpful. He even celebrated the trip with refreshing berries juice, good wishes and made great memories. The Hunza river was really gentle this time of the year, not a class 3 or 4 rapids. As the guide said in July 10 to 15 ft waves in Hunza river are not good for beginners. Doc & Shoaib were really good at stopping the guides from having fun by stopping the spinning zodiac. Hamid Sb was narrating an epic rafting adventure he had undertaken in 1976 going rafting in a fiberglass boat named Sinbad from above Tarbela Dam to Karachi. He undertook this trip without scouting the river or the routes. It had taken them 5 weeks to reach the southernmost tip of Pakistan. That must be one heck of an adventure. Doc’s book should have a chapter dedicated to Hamid sb’s rafting adventure. Doc & Shoaib did a great job paddling the zodiac down the Hunza river. As Doc said the panoramic views of the mountains all arounds were really awe inspiring. It was a very good family white water rafting trip. Look forward to more exciting vlogs.

20th episode and loving it. Most of these places seems to be untouched from mainstream tourists. Quite pristine and hope it would be kept that way. Some of the scenes could be copy / pasted in "Adventures of Indiana Jones and his clique" Dr. Mansoor should visit Mumbai and try his luck in movies ;)
