Grew up on Marty, but I am here for Char. Being in the USA we don’t hear really anything about char but the guy is absolutely amazing. Blending funk with hints fusion, blues, rock, and progressive. Very creative, and his sense of rhythm is beautiful.

I can say I hadn't heard of him. But, every once in a while when I try to be honest, I'll say I also haven't thought about listening to his records. Could you point me to something that you consider is his apogee? I mean, with all the little time we're always able to find on a daily basis, we might aswell get the most of it. Otherwise I'll be trying to spend my time on looking for Char's best. Which isn't on my priority list, you know. But maybe I'll give him a try, if I like what I hear. Thanks man!

@@TheOnlyKtulu for me it’s something I am just now getting into so unfortunately I wouldn’t know much. Smoky is a good tune though
Finally this on KZbin!!!!!!!! One of the best Jam sessions i've ever seen

But it was on KZbin until now aswell, and also put together all 5 songs. I only did some editing, because there was an approx. 0.3s lag between sound and visual.

But you're right, I think it's THE best, although that's only because I'm a die-hard fan of Marty's.🤣😂
@@TheOnlyKtulu I don’t think you comprehended what he says on the comment. Basically he is saying that it’s nice of Marty and Char are considerate to each other. Although Marty can speak Japanese, Char just sometimes speaks English to Marty.
I love Marty so much but this is a text book example of why he needs strong accompaniment. His phrasing and soloing is beautiful but he needs another strong voice to shape it and I think this is why he never quite reached his Megadeth peak in terms of creative output. Still I'm really happy to have what we got. I got to exist at the same time as Marty and that's okay with me.
