Chara and Kris are not related to each other for clarification. Also, Chara says “what does your down special do” because a lot of people were very confused by Kris’s down-special seemingly doing nothing. It costs TP to use, and even then it just gives stat boosts, so a lot of people thought it did nothing.

Before filling the meter, you can tell when you have a final smash by the smash ball, if the horizontal line is thicker than the vertical one, its a fake smash ball, which takes place when you have no final smash, the fake smash ball explosion doesn’t effect the user

the reason why Chara feels so OP is because Chara is, by definition, a glass cannon character hits hard, but dies easily, which is why their recovery isn't that good also fun fact: the stun you're in after a missed counter, is still actionable, making it actually, a great mix up tool even when missing it

Fun Fact : Chara has interactions with characters like Kris in the "Rude Buster" Stage. Also Down B used to be a Gaster Blaster counter and Up B was a Bone I guess they got Changed because to make it feel more distinct from Sans as possible (especially Down B)

Toby directly said that he did not specify the gender so that the player can himself imagined/headcanoned the right one, not because Frisk and Chara are genderless story-wise or something like that. Imho its just much more bi/lesbians amongst female gamers) but Chara-guy is cool too. Also now Kris kinda took place of male Chara, so its another reason to view Chara as a girl.
