Just a warning if you split the model during the export such as with the eyelash, mouth interior or by material etc. do not use the goz to send it to character creator instead make sure to hit the all next to the goz button otherwise it will try to import the mesh as clothes or accesory

WOW! The range of capability to make custom characters in CC3 cannot be overstated. I am extremely glad that I bought CC3 (Pipeline). And this is a great tutorial! Thank you for sharing! The downside is, I don't have $900 to spend on Zbrush. Now, if CC3 had an alternative direct workflow option to, say, Sculptris, that would be immensely helpful. One can try to use the Scuplting functions in Blender, but there might be some complications. Don't know, haven't tried it on a body rig, only with clothing.

It seems like the mesh update is not working when I bring it back to cc3 from zbush.. I tried Goz and All button but still my update model is just showing as white and it's not rigged.

Thia is a great tutorial thank you sooooo much ive been trying to do this for ages :-) quick question! when im done sculpting my chaaracter in zbrush then click Goz and choose update mesh only in character creator Im ending up with two models the original one and the one from zbrush with no textures itsl white.What am i doing wrong here?

Help! I imported over to GoZ and after editing it and click on GoZ it created a duplicate white meshed characte back at Character Creator 3.

@@rigo38 Found the solution already. Took me 2 days of struggle. U will need to reduce the scale of your avatar in the CC3 before import. After that, everything will be good.

Hello friend, I have a big question and perhaps you explain it in your master class but since I do not know English I do not find out. once you have the model with any pose other than the T pose in the zbrush it is impossible to transfer it back to CC3. I work a pose in CC3 and it allows me to transfer the model with the pose to zbrush ... but then I try to pass it with the same pose to CC3 and the mesh is deformed ... it is normal for that to happen or I am doing something wrong ??? can you help me please ... thank you very much in advance ...

Hello, yes, it's documented that for round-trip editing via GoZ, you *must* use the T-Pose or A-Pose. So yes, what you're seeing is "normal". Just don't do that! 😀Only edit the pose in CC3/CC4 and/or iClone. (Or don't do round-trip.)

I am having trouble with cc3 to Zbrush then to substance painter, once I use Goz to ZBrush, the UV of the model is all messed up. I can not split body to individual part in ZBrush.

Do you know if this process can work without using GoZ? The main reason is because I have my wacom tablet attached to my mac, and Character creator is on my PC. I'd prefer to export, sculpt on my mac and take it back into the PC (though I'd prefer CC to come to mac, but that's a different story hehe)

From ZBrush, I had to click the All button instead of the GoZ button to get it to import correctly into CC
