Huge step up from liyue and the mistake that was inazuma, unlike Inazuma, characters, exploration mechanics, and the story especially all had proper presentation to get you understand/care for it. Inazuma had better exploration puzzles than sumaru overall but there was no proper introduction for them, and a paragraph doesnt count, so they felt overwhelming. I bet it took people a youtube video to understand you could place relay stones while gliding.

Alhaitham's banner is sadly about to end soon but I can't stop watching this! Honestly this is the best character demo I've seen so far. Huge props to the voice actors Nazeeh Tarsha (Alhaitham), Alejandro Saab (Cyno), Elliot Gindi (Tighnari) and whoever is voicing Kaveh for delivering such fun, amazing and believable performances for these 4 good boys and I hope to see more scenes of them interacting again in the future. EDIT: I take back what I said about Elliot before. Seriously, f**k that guy! EDIT2: Kaveh's VA has been revealed to be Ben Balmaceda. Can't wait to hear more of him in 3.6!

1:52 Fun fact, the mirrors in this scene are a reference to Ibn al-Haytham, the middle eastern scholar he was based off of who studied mirrors and is known as the father of modern optics. That’s why his kit also revolves around mirrors. Ibn al-Haytham also faked insanity to avoid punishment, so it’s really neat to see all these references, and it’s sad to think that this detail will go unnoticed by many people. Props to whoever came up with the mirror imagery, it’s a really cool reference. I also love the 80s vibe music and the inclusion of Kaveh, Tighnari and Cyno in the demo.

apart from Alhaitham being smooth as hell the whole demo, I also love the little details during their conversation; Tighnari's ears flickering a couple of times, Cyno sulking when Kaveh asks if Alhaitham is stronger than him and alhaitham's facial expressions towards Kaveh when he joins them at the table.
