I am excited for this but one thing that is going to bug me is Chiwu in 10MOPB he was Zi Lan, who had feelings for the ghost princess Yan Zhi, but he refused her due to his loyalty to the heavens. Now he's back playing a demon lord? I get it's a different time setting but we all know him as the prior. Either way I will adore it so glad those two get a storyline now.

LOL Zhe Yan looks the same age with Feng Jiu where he supposed to be WAY OLDER than Bai Qian. With him looking that young, people would wish him to fall for Feng Jiu which is ridiculous. This new cast are all beautiful, but the girls are still lacking in visual compared to the men imo.

I'm quite confused why Liu Ruilin who played as Zi Lan in Ten Miles Peach Blossom series is now playing as a demon lord in The Pillow Book. Somehow, I'm very fascinated of his character in the previous series and the same thing goes with Bai Zhen and Zhe Yan, why are the actors replaced?😭

I think it's a play on origins, because a PCC flower is often referred to as a burned celosia basically phoenix. the whole fire ashes thing. Not 100% sure tho seems to be the case.

@@kaisaliepark6988 Plumed cockscomb is a celosia argentea. Celosia means burned or burning bc the flower head looks like flame. It looks nothing like a phoenix flower...but I get what you're saying though
