Tonight, I am continuing our character showcase videos and putting the spotlight on the Baddest B the world has ever seen, Candy. This is an inside look at Vengeance Hunters and a preview of what you can expect when you get your hands on the game later this year while playing Candy, our aerial specialist & glass canon. She is definitely more canon than glass.

This video was made using the windows version. Usually I use my Neo-Geo MVS when recording for a video that I then run through a scaler (retrotink4k). But for this one I am on the windows version of the game.

RNG damage over time? Well, it's not my preference. Some super generous hitboxes for attacks I can see. Anyway, it's looking good. The more I see it the more I like it.

The RNG is pretty high in the players favor and it doesn't amount to a ton of damage. And there are ways to make it guaranteed. It's more flavor for the character than anything. And yeah, hurtboxes/hitboxes are pretty generous as it sucks to think you should be able to hit something, then you can't unless it's lined up perfectly. And this game is patterned more after Marvel vs. Capcom or a 2D Devil May Cry than it is any beta'em'up when it comes to gameplay design. A lot of button pressing, a lot of action and, yes, generous hitboxes to make you feel powerful. Of course, the game is balanced around that. Hard mode is HARD. It's also a way to not have every enemy on the screen bleed at the same time so that we end up with performance issues in 2player mode. We have had to come up with some interesting solutions to minimize performance issues!

@@zairman But you ask on official channel of the game if you can get a pirated copy of it. Yet it is not even finished. And it is a commercial product which is coming to consoles and PC.

@@zairman maybe you shouldn't ask because this is the official channel for the game, and it's quite disrespectful to ask the developers if they are going to pirate their own game
