@@iainwhite8617it’s way better. The reason is because there are faults in it. Miyagi was essentially perfect with the way he taught Daniel. The reason perfection is celebrated is because there were imperfections. There is no perfection without the mistakes. That’s why Johnny and Miguel had a better dynamic. Both made many mistakes and both grew together. Not to mention they were on the “bad side” and became good together

I think Miguel Diaz is one of the Karate Kids in the Cobra Kai Series. He is badass because of his training under Johnny Lawrence , but has also found his roots within defense under Daniel LaRusso. I believe Miguel is even more than who he is as an All Valley Champion. I love you bro

I've been a fan of CK in May 2018 (when it first aired on YT Red/Premium and I was 11 when S1 dropped) and watched it I think it was on the first Friday in May 2018 and I loved every minute it and now, been ridin' with Johnny and Miguel for 7 years and hope Miguel wins the Sekai Taikai. I'm finna cry when it all ends.

The writers wanted the next karate kid & someone to follow in Daniel's footsteps, worthy of the title & they picked a good one. From being bullied, to training, to winning, letting Cobra Kai get in his head & losing himself, to pulling himself back to the good side, to being injured and fighting his way back It's Daniel's path. Now it's time to bring it home & win the whole thing.

Miguel was the best martial artist. He was trained by Johnny Lawrence. He learned karate. He and Johnny had the best moments. They went from Cobra Kai, and Eagle Fang Karate, to Miyagi-Do. They were there for each other. And here they are in the tournament from Spain. It was an honor for Miguel to be part of Cobra Kai the TV series.

Miguel is tied with Demetri as my favorite of the next gen characters. I've always loved the "family is not always blood" aspect of the show, and Xolo's portrayal of Miguel with Johnny is pretty much that in a nutshell. I know he's had experience with that playing Victor Graham, but CK focuses on the mentor/student to father/son dynamic, not just the adopted family aspect. They, quite literally, needed each other to overcome their issues.
