One of the best reprises of this role since Alan. Funny thing, when he was in Cincinnati, I was with my girlfriend at Starbucks down the block from the theater where we would be seeing the show. My girlfriend, who saw the show a few days prior, noticed him walking down the street and approaching us. She said to him "Uhh, aren't you in Cabaret?" and he replied with "Yes I am haha, but I'm late to my calltime." He got his coffee and quickly left without saying much. It wasn't until after he walked away did my girlfriend then say he was the Emcee. So yes, he is very shy in person, but put on the most breathtaking role.

I absolutely adore this man. I saw him live at the hippodrome theatre in Baltimore and I fell in love with his performance (especially "I Don't Care Much"). He is an incredible actor, singer, dancer, and performer in general, and the rest of the cast and show itself just blew me away. I looked him up after and watched Queer As Folk and fell in love with him all over again (not literally of course but still). please please watch this production if you like the show or are interested in it, I highly recommend it because it is just an absolutely phenomenal production.

He was a PHENOMENAL Emcee! He, Alan Cumming and John Stamos were my three favorites in the Roundabout Theater's production. Saw Randy on tour in San Francisco back in July and was TRULY impressed.

Met him after seeing the show in San Francisco recently and he's a complete doll - he commits so much to his performance and off stage he's so mild mannered and sweet. it makes me happy to see him succeeding in this role!

I absolutely love this production!! The role was made for him to play. He is fantastic. With the grueling work and travel schedule he dazzles the audience with his stage presence. He puts 100% of his energy into this character and show every night. Can't wait to see it again!

I saw him in Boston, two weeks ago. And I loved it. Randy is so talented. He definitely made this character his own. His voice and his staging was AMAZING. Goosebumps with " I don't care much" and a lots of laughs with "Two ladies". Great work of all cast and crew. The entire production was brilliant.

I LOVE RANDY HARRISON SO MUCH! I just saw him as the emcee and he was absolutely amazing, he really put his own spin on the character, he was wonderful as the emcee and I believe he gave as brilliant of a performance as Allan Cumming. Great job!!!

Totally ADORABLE randy!! he could like my best friend!! I met him IN NYC about month and half ago, and still want more....Meaning to talk to him about..... I can get him out of his "shy" ways, by making him feel comfortable, with my openness and fun personality....There is so much I want to know about him and ask. I want to know when and where he is next to support him in all ways possible. Great job Justin!!! Miss you also on QAF!!!

This is so awesome. I heard that before from a friend, that she is shy but can deal with it while being on stage. How do people get over this tensed situation, while being on stage and perform? I remember everything clearly, whilr playing an instrument back in the day. It was SO tough because everyone was focused on you and your doing. How do people overcome this? This is such a miracle to me.
@macrent24 жыл бұрын
I think that it is because when you are on stage and inhabiting a role, it is liberating. I also believe that it could be because unlike "real life" encounters and social interactions, the theatre is rehearsed, and everything has an order and predictability.

I'm sure he's fine performer, but showing makeup being applied is but a tiny part of what we see when an actor 'transforms,' and this clip shows zip-nada of that...
