Leaving a note just to let know that seth charged force function that decrease Start up frames of his orbs while normal force function makes his orbs the same as charged force function except start up time doesn't decrease but it will be far than close

This is a great overview. I think the only thing I can complain about is the lack of strategic tips. For example how does Seth matchup against the rest of the cast? What's a good way to approach with Seth? When in poking range what should we poke with? What's a good way to end a blockstring or safely extend pressure? What's a good combo ender? What should we spend meter on? When should we CS? I think you should try and answer these questions if you make a more advanced Seth Guide.

These are all great questions that I would definitely compile in an advanced study. Most newcomers looking for a character to play wont necessarily be asking these questions per se, which is why I left that information out. But I'll definitely add that in to the next one, i might hold off until the next iteration is released.

@@BlueRuki Awesome dude! I'll definitely subscribe to make sure I don't miss it! You mentioned in the video that you have a macro button (R1 = [A+B}) for doing your fastfall and dash, which I do too. However, in a combo, for example: 623B > 66C. Do you use the macro still (6[A+B])C or press 66C? I've found that the 66C timing can be buffered easier in the window than the strict timing for (6[A+B])C after 623B. What are your thoughts? I only picked up Seth the other day so that might be the reason!

Oh, I definitely buffer 66C as it's been the most forgiving and consistent way of continuing that combo midscreen.

With the C version of command throw you forgot to add that you can grab either on the ground or the air, its great for combo finishers with Veil Off. Thanks for the guide, i tried to figure what the B+C charge did but never knew, but now i know :D

I think my biggest thing is that I dont like telling people how to do combos, because I always got into a bad habit of always trying to do things that did the most damage. So with a game like this as opposed to street fighter, you can do different combos that lead to different routes and different setups, that's why I explain why each move acts like a function. But maybe I'll try and do that with the next one.

Is Seth viable on pad or is my thumb going to die if I pick him? I'm pretty casual at fighting games so I'm not all that good at inputs, but I'm searching for a Undernight main :(

I exclusively play on dpad, even though I'm dedicated, my hands hurt after hour long sessions. This guy is pretty execution heavy, but give him some practice. If you want someone who is a bit easier for execution, I have a private Enkidu tutorial because it was quickly put together. But if you're interested in that, let me know

Blue Ruki I don't mind spending a few hours in the lab a week to learn Seth so I'll try putting some work in with him, he definitely looks fun love hia mobility and setup options. I'm not really into Enkidu cause he doesn't look all that nimble and seems like he struggles in neutral greatly due to no projectiles :(. Overall I think the only characters I'm greatly interested in are Seth, Hilda, (although R.I.P with all those negative edge combos), Eltnum, and Chaos. But your guide on Enkidu might make me consider him!

I recently pick up the game but I've been trying to learn Seth on pad as well and I'm not gonna lie it is hard, but is duable. The best thing I could recommend is to map a botton with A+B to be able to dash mid air easier and fast fall. Also map another botton to A+B+C so you can finish combos with you special. This last thing works for all character so is good to have, but for Seth having that A+B bottons is a must.

Turn on your inputs in training mode, and see which directions are getting missed or accidentally put in.

Start with 6 (Forwards) then do a Half Circle Back then immediately 6 (Forwards again)
