Sir spectral sensitivity kya hota hai
@RadiographySimplified Жыл бұрын
Spectral sensitivity refers to the color of light to which a particular film is most sensitive. In radiography, there are generally two categories of spectral sensitivity films: blue-sensitive and green-sensitive. We have to choose the right combination. For eg blue sensitive film must be used with a calcium tungstate screen. 🙏🙏

What happens after D-max?

Solarization of x-ray film occurs when high quantities of light exposure actually cause a reversal radiographic density. One can use solarized film to make copies of radiographs....at the shoulder region of the H&D curve the density on the film is maximum, afterwards If exposure continues( increase) , density decreases at a certain point, which would be representative of the solarization effect🙏🙏.

Sir please explain overexposure and underexposure in terms of the h and d curve. Also why underexposure appears bright and over exposure appears black. The physics behind it
@RadiographySimplified Жыл бұрын
Hi.. Sorry for responding late.. The toe region of the h&d curve represents Underexposure while the shoulder region represents overexposure.. Higher the value of exposures ( kvp/ mAs) for more x-ray will pass through the patient & more light from the intensifying screen will expose the film which will result in more density on the film therefore results in over exposed / black film similarly due to under exposure film will appears bright.. Hope you will find this explanation helpful.. Please share this video with your colleagues and recommend this channel🙏
