Well, in the german version bishop and deacon have the same voice actors as rebecca and shaun so I suggest they are the same characters only with other names.

Not likely- Ubisoft seems to mostly base its voice actors in or around Canada, while Troy is based in LA.

I feel like I am one of the few people not really annoyed with the accent thing. Although I am usually pretty observant when it comes to accents but maybe it's because I'm not a native English speaker, nor am I a native French speaker. (though I did learn French for 4 years) But it just never bothered me. Because in the German version there rarely EVER is an accent, in my experience they usually just speak regular German so it just never bothered me that much

Because black Bart was based in the Caribbean and Germain in France and they'd have different accents, hard to explain but I hope you know what I mean! They don't have to be exactly the same, the voice can be different. However they both have different coloured eyes which is an attribute of a sage

The two actors who voiced Arno and Elise are Canadian. Dan Jeannotte and Catherine Berube can speak perfect French but the game designers decided on English accents. Since England and France are both part of Europe, and the French Revolution was centuries ago, I don't think the English accent is a problem at all.
