Questions for next pilot interview: What is a waypoint ? How do pilots navigate from runway to first waypoint, and from last waypoint and to runway ? What is ILS and how it works ? Is the ATC always in touch what the pilot ?

Way point is a specified lattitude and longitude of a location...ILS sands for instrument lading system and ils works with radio signals...like by transmitting and receiving signals...and ATC air traffic controller... Yes a pilot of an aircraft must...in contact with ATC bcoz... They direct the moment of the aircraft... And for making separation between two aircraft to avoid collision
