With some care, you can get 10kg on each unit with the right cut. It's not easy. One time I had 2xunits with skin on marylands and lamb shoulder. 20kg total. 6 or 7 years later they still work fine but the fire bins are deteriorating . Actually very good value

Yeah as the coals burn down and you trim you need to adjust the height to suit!

Nice cook on that chicken. It was a while ago but any idea of how much kgs charcoal you used?
@aussieoutdoorreviews3 ай бұрын
Thanks mate! My rough rule of thumb is one Bunnings jumbuck charcoal chimney per kg of meat. I reckon that’s about 1kg of charcoal per 1 kg of meat. Dont be afraid to add more as you go along, you want to maintain a heat level where your hand can last 2/3 seconds in the cooking zone before you need to pull it away throughout the cook.

Tried ordering one, but I guess you guys don’t ship to the United States. Any recommendations on alternatives?

Gday mate! Any rotisserie will work, do you have a Weber kettle? You can get a great rotisserie attachment for the Weber!
@gregorykarimian38138 ай бұрын
@@aussieoutdoorreviews yes I do. Thank you for the reply. This rotisserie grill is actually cheaper than the attachment itself, not including the spit. Haha

Those coals lasted a long time

With charcoal you can top it up as you go, but I find lump charcoal lasts a lot longer than heatbeads!
