This Bob Ross edition is a blessing. My daughter and I just purchased a Bob Ross toaster at a local art store. It burns a Bob Ross head image into one side of the toast. We now make happy breakfasts! They're still making money off Bob. What an inspiration he was, and still is! Your work is absolutely beautiful, and also very inspiring. Personally, I think a 20-30 minute video is long enough. You supply lots of inspiring techniques for your viewers to consider within 30 minutes!! Thank you. It's greatly appreciated. You definitely have lots of knowledge and techniques to share with young and old charcoal and graphite artists.

I like what you did. I have painted along with several Bob Ross videos using oil pastels. Fun and relaxing.

Excellent! All the elements of the scene are very convincing. The mountains look fantastically natural. The rocky shapes on the left foreground look very realistic. I also like how you bent over some of the trees to perhaps indicate that they have grown somewhat irregular maybe because of heavy snow loads and they never fully recovered. That is a great touch. You really are the pencil maestro.

Thank you for this, I've wanted to get back into drawing, and my daughter was given a charcoal pencil set, so of course I'm the one using it 🤣. I had a hard time with the rocks, and i also didn't have that charcoal you used for shading areas, but it turned out ok for my first attempt with charcoal. I like how forgiving it is.

Your charcoal work is WONDERFUL! I have recently gotten more serious about my artwork. I am a wildlife artist and was wondering if you could do a charcoal of a whitetail deer? I love your videos! Thanks for the work!

Isn't water always a mirror? Shouldn't there be an indication of a mountain reflection on the lake? Great looking picture and technique. Do you spray a protectant to preserve the image?
@MiroslavSunjkic11 ай бұрын
Not necessarily. I spray a ton of fixative on charcoal drawings.

Excellent, thank you! Did you produce the charcoal powder yourself, or is it a particular brand of charcoal powder? If you made your own, what type of charcoal did you find gave the smoothest gradation?
@MiroslavSunjkic3 жыл бұрын
I made my own. I sanded down some soft vine charcoal. It's lighter and more easily moved.

is it possible to get full videos that are not fast forwarded? I try to follow along but have to pause very frequently so I can catch up. I am a beginner with charcoal. I can understand most people probably want to see it quickly done, so maybe there can be two versions? I prefer tutorials so I can take my time while following the video and learn the techniques rather than feeling rushed having to pause, work, etc. I begin to lose sight of the activity and playing catch up.

You're video tutorials are getting better and better! Very easy to follow with beautiful results. I just have a quick question... What brand of woodless charcoal pencils do you use and how are they different from ones with wood? I'm looking to bring by drawings to the next level and don't want to be restricted by my tools, and you seem to be a fan of woodless pencils judging from other videos. Just curious about their purpose. Keep up the good work!!
@MiroslavSunjkic3 жыл бұрын
The woodless ones I got are worison a cheap Chinese brand. There is not much difference but the woodless pencils tend to be easier to sharpen.

yeah bob ross never impressed me, to me he fell in a range somewhere between average and irritating, anybody can create emotion with color, it takes real talent to do in black and white and bob ross couldn't do what you've done here. your recreation of light values rival that of a b&w photograph. Admittedly i'm kinda obsessed with mountain scenes so i watch a lot of that type of videos but your piece moved me so much that even though i traded my drawn tools in for spray paint cans a long long time ago, after watching this video a couple times today i went out tonight and bought a set of charcoal, erasers, and the other stuff to start drawing again.......

Check out season 2 episode 4 and season 28 episode 4 for some black and white paintings. Remember ross did it all in about 29 minutes. This isn't real time so...
