That's just estimated HP and Torque based on the computers analysis. It's not accurate really. I see numbers on my srt8 300 which is heavily modded 569 HP and 535 torque . I did watch these numbers rise as I added mods. But I believe it measures "crank" HP and you lose at least 15% thru the drive train. So estimated mine is 484 to wheels . Mods include long tubes, cai, ported TB, full custom straight through exhaust with turbine muffler, HP tuner with full custom tune by Jay Greene for engine and transmission. I run 0-60 on 3.8 but even that's no accurate. I just like racing fools who think they are faster than me. Camaro SS and mustang GT get smoked like a Philli blunt

Long tube headers, High flow cats, 3 inch exhaust back to single chambers, fastman ported TB, 180 thermo, CAI from K an N, bought HP tuner and had Jay Green Racing Tune it for engine and transmission. The dude is genius and could squeeze a ton of power out of NA engine. I don't have the car anymore. It hurts to not have it anymore. Loved the car

Did this to my 2014 rt and upon start up my car sputtered out and haven’t been able to get it to even turn over since. Tried to install the backed up factory tune and it gets stuck at 10% on the shifting firmness section of the restore.

Hi Y'all I have a 06 charger RT, silver letters, has bad PCM I believe..if I get Diablo PCM and Tuner is it hard to do it myself? I'm very mechanically person..just never worked on computers systems. will I gain anything with just KNAIR filter,when I install this in will replace all sparkplugs,coil packs,possibly MSD. will it gain at least 30 hp and 30 ft lbs. Eventually I'll get better exhaust system for a little better flowing,and great sound..I know exhaust doesn't gain much for it's prices..

naw dude, it's a comp algorithym that only added those gains due to the engine reving past stock limit. So the perf pages don't technically take into account the intake someone would have nor the timing the tune does. So the car's not reading the power coming from the crank.

At 420 crank hp your actually getting after parasitic loss your going to be 368 wheel hp. my scat pack challenger says 485 factory crank hp but, I'm at 502 crank 436 wheel on a stock car.

Easiest thing you can do to gain about 15-20 whp is full exhaust with headers, cold air intake and a tune. Also you can gain great power boost from doing an E85 conversion kit. But be warned car modding can get quite pricey depending on how much power you want. You have a 5.7, after doing so much work to the car you will find yourself spend so much that you should of got a 392 lol. But hey to each his own. Enjoy your car!!!!

Nevey under estimate the car only 4400 pound it ways lies than the SRT. The new camaro right at 4000. It unless it a ten speed and they do not shift faster the dodge eight speed. It doesnt matter dog, you can just just subtract like 30-40hp from the crank to guesstimate your whp. Its all the same number though whether youre reading the stock hp at the crank or the wheels comparing it to the tuned hp at the crank or the wheels- crank to crank and wheels to wheels is gonna be the same ratio.

Brandon Persaud supposedly the SRT8 will get more power gain than the 5.7 with the same tune. You need to do serious mods like, full exhaust, cam, & long tubes to see some serious power gains.

bigced007 I like the Diablo for the customization! The Diablo allows for many customized tunes. If you call or email tech support and tell them the type of tune you need they will forward you a download for the update. So Diablo is a really good Tuner.

People crying over crank hp instead of whp are so annoying. If the stock crank hp is 370 and the tune plus mods is 410 then he gained 40hp. If the stock car is measured in wheel hp and gets 330 whp and ends up at 370 whp after the tune, IT STILL ADDS 40 hp 😂🤦🏼‍♂️ its the same number , just at a different scale. Do the ratio and find the exact loss from the crank by measuring at the wheels. 25/100 is the same as 1/4 even though 25 isnt equal to 1 in value and neither is 4 to 100 but when you combine them into a ratio and factor it 25/100 is = 1/4.

Wrong. If we go stock R/T numbers (375hp) and get 330whp, that's a 12% drivetrain loss. Which is VERY generous in an auto. Now if you take 410 crank and factor that same 12% loss, you're getting 360whp. That means 45bhp translates to 30whp. So no, it's not the same.

Yessir, do you ever plan to dyno yours? Mine's AWD but average drivetrain loss estimates show I'd probably put down about 300-310 awhp and yours would probably make about 330-340 rwhp. Chisel Scalp I installed pre loaded tunes. And you honestly only need the i1000 DCX if you have a 2011-2014 charger/ challenger. The T000 has race timers and a few more features built in. But both tuners have the same preloaded tunes.

no reso isn't a good mod imo, just makes u waste more gas with some smaller sound difference, and sucks it shifts at like 57mph.. u would save damn near a second and a half if that went a little further

Randy Laster cam swap and full exhaust with long tubes and a good tune will put you in the 400’s.

And no I don’t do anything to the internals. Only CAI and reso delete. This car was probably only making 360hp to the wheels. The SRT pages reads engine hp.

Two Questions, What's a Throttle Booster? And, what that the Diablo Trinity, or the Intune? I'm purchasing a 17 R/T Road&Track This weekend and a Tune is probably going to be my first Mod Lol Need to get a good gain. I'm wanting at least 400hp

Omarr Longway well throttle booster is how responsive your gas pedal is. If you it the booster all the way up, all you have to do is lightly step on the gas and the car jumps forward. The diablosport tuner is the best and easiest tuner for mopar vehicles. With exhaust mods and CAI and tune. You can look at about probably 370-380 whp on the chargers with the 8 speed trans. When you look at this video, that is engine hp you're seeing not wheel hp. My wheel Hp is probably 380 maybe.

WILLIE WATSON honestly if you don't have mods done like exhaust and cam etc. then it will only be useful for throttle boost and to remove the top speed and rev limiters.
