If you watch the video, you can see exactly what we did for the entire vehicle. The front speakers are 6-1/2" Alpine SPR-60C Type R Component Speakers which use a 6x9" to 6-1/2" speaker adapter brackets. The tweeters are shown in the video being installed in the dash. The rear speakers are Alpine SPR-69 6x9" Type R Speakers located above the trunk.

Depends on the wattage of the amplifier. 8G wire can handle up to 400 watts or so. 6g is even less.

We get our Alpine Products from an Authorized Distributor and offer the same exact warranty that they do. The only difference is that you would ship the product to us instead of Alpine if anything goes wrong. All of the products are genuine and are exactly the same quality as through an authorized dealer.

For the best support, we mount the enclosure into the trunk directly using brackets. However, if you have a smaller enclosure, you can use Velcro straps to secure it to the carpet.

The GPS antenna was hidden behind the dash, near the receiver, facing upward toward the sky. The antenna is commonly mounted on top of the chassis of the receiver if there is room.

I don't quite remember which wire we used for that installation, but when it comes to door speakers, anything heavier than 14 gauge is pretty much overdoing it. Quality 16 gauge will suffice in most applications, unless you're running some really heavy power into your door speakers.
@TheChosenOne2326
@TheChosenOne2326 11 жыл бұрын
One is for the speakers in the back and probably in the front doors. The aftermarket (or stock) deck can only produce so much power to those speakers, so with an amp, you can really get the most potential out of the speakers. The other amp is for the subwoofer because, you need one to power the sub.

For low powered systems, a capacitor can be a great help, but only if the Alternator outputs enough amperage so that the cap does not end up being a burden on the system. If you do not have enough power, a capacitor will not help you.

In the dodges LX cars (magnums, chargers and 300's) you have to bypass the wiring anyways. It's a canbus system, unless you want to pay the extra 200 for the interface. Plus, a lot of the canbus amps have already dropped a channel. Did this with my magnum. Ran an aftermarket amp for all the speakers.

Having a dealer agreement is not a 'monopolizing' the market. It goes for car dealerships, ATVs or tools trucks (Snap-On, Cornwell ...etc). You sign your agreement and the company says that no one else is allowed to come into your geographical area and sell the same product. The 'Authorized Distributors' that sell to places like Sonic have to abide a similar set of rules. They can't sell to a non authorized dealer, especially a shop in a protected territory. It's not illegal, just wrong

very neat idea for the tweeter bracket.. on my 4runner i mounted my type s alpine tweeters by using a thin plastic trashcan. i took the factory tweeter/mount combo and traced it on a side on the trash can, and dremeled it out and cut hole to tweeter and bolts. just my 2 cents for tweeter mount ideas!

I think it's set to around 75%. I just don't understand why the system plays at full volume when the car is off. My battery reads as fully charged as well. With the car on, no matter what other electrical devices that I have on or off, it will cut off around 20/35. I normally play my stereo around 27/35 when it worked properly before. There hasn't been any equipment changes except for a new battery 7 months ago. This just started happening around a month and a half ago.

You ALWAYS recommend using new aftermarket wires for the door speakers? Not always dude. If you arent amping the door speakers there is no point in replacing the wire unless is defective. However if you are going to put an amp on the door speakers then always run new wire to match the new higher level wattage.
