I am so glad that Steven (with a “V”) went hard on those fans that think you can trade for Garrett with a wish on star, a 3rd round pick, Bosa, and a pirated DVD version of Oppenheimer. Garrett would be amazing. But I want to see the Chargers target a cheaper option in the draft. There are some good players at 22 or maybe Hortiz would trade up to get one at the end of the first round or beginning of the second.

This whole Miles Garrett trade is silly. The Chargers have way too many holes and a terrible Swiss cheese offense. They are not trading 2 first round pickes and all that money for a 30 year old Edge. NEVER happening period. You want to help this team and spend money you steal away the Chiefs Guard and pay him. Then you pay Tee Higgins and draft Loveland.

"30 year old EDGE" isn't incorrect but come on lol.

He wouldnt cost two 1st anway one 1st at the most its probably gonna be close to the mack trade garrett is 29 ita not gonna be that much to get him and besides he makes joey bosa type money that would be way better spent than keeping bosa around to play a few healthy games

We have way to many holes to fill to be thinking about picking up a last piece high priced player like that. No thanks! Think more like the Lions and build through the draft! Why trade for Kupp and lose capital when you can just bring back Keenan on a two year deal so he can finish up with us, then draft an X.

Draft....Develop....resign. this club now has a G.M. and cohorts to evaluate talent and develop the team from top to bottom with the draft. Everyone but Steven and myself want to get rid of Zion. Give him another year. If you want to build a club that dominates you got to be smart. Giving one 30 year old player 36 mill is a big risk. Look at the mess Cleveland got into trying to improve it Q.B. room. Remember we gave 20 mill lat year to J. C. Jackson. This club is taking a step up. Let's not blind fold the person climbing the stairs and then add the risk of banana peals on the stairs treads. Hortiz said let's be smart. If he makes the trade I will back it. Prize picks, I am betting he don't because of what it would take to get him. The future of the franchise.

Im all for dumping joey bosa and using that to help get a deal dine for garret he still has 3 or 4 great seasons left in him easily and they still dont have to exteend him for a new deal he has 2 years left and if they do after next season he would be 30 his deal would be a little cheaper at that point im all for this deal to happen he is the best egde player in the nfl rt now and def. Being wasted on the browns for sure imagine this jeese minter defense having him that would be crazy and the trade value isnt gonna be that crazy ita gonna be similair to the mack deal except a little sweeter 2nd this year and a 3rd or 4th next year mack was 2 years older and it was a 2nd and a 6th this could be close to the same he is 29 its not gonna be anything crazy

The Chargers shouldn’t, and I don’t think they will, trade valuable picks for an expensive vet. They’re not just a player and gave many holes to fill. Myles Garrett is great, but how did the Browns do with him? They need a balanced roster and the draft is the best way to build one.

The Browns don’t have Justin Herbert
@theoracle3772Күн бұрын
The Chargers have a weak interior OL and a lack of weapons on offense, including a very thin RB group (even if Dobbins returns), no youth on the DL, and no true #1 CB. I’m a Herbert fan, but until he rises to the occasion when it really matters, you can’t rank him up there with Mahomes, Jackson, Allen, and Burrow. He needs a team, and with the current roster, giving up multiple firsts would be foolish. Making a trade like that is something a team does when they’re a player away. That’s not currently the Chargers.
