I hope everyone is safe from the wildfires. I am looking forward to Zeke coming to the Chargers. Although he is on the downhill side of his career, place him with Dobbins in short yardage red zone attempts - they will certainly give the opposing defenses something to think about. Zeke should be good for a couple of points which could be important. Remember, except for the Buccaneers blowout - the Chargers were very close in all their defeats.

Brandon staley goes to the 49ners and the their defense looked awful. Telesco goes to the raiders, they win 4 games and he gets fired after 1 season. The fact that we dealt with telesco for 11 years just speaks volumes to the disadvantages we had as an organization
@garrettcunningham96718 сағат бұрын
I don’t think telesco was bad honestly, we got Herbert, James, Keenan, Mike, Melvin Jr, Bosa. The coaching was always terrible though. As a bolt fan myself I think he got a bad wrap at the raiders.
@Supercharged0077 сағат бұрын
@garrettcunningham9671 in my opinion telesco was a terrible drafter. Herbert was best qb available when we got him at #6. Bosa was 3rd over selection in his draft, m. Williams was the 7th overall draft pick, derwin fell to 17 and we should have never been able to get him but we got lucky, Melvin gordan was a top 10 all time running back in college and we needed to replace ryan matthews. Keenan was a third round steal (I'll give him credit for that one). We constantly had high draft picks because our team was bad a lot. Telesco was 50/50 with draft picks in the 1st and 2nd round. And when you're drafting in the top 10 you have a pretty good chance of getting a solid player. Any gm can pick generational players when theyre picking in the top 10. The 3rd round and on.......telesco was absolutely terrible. And he really sucked at drafting offensive lineman and defensive tackles. That's why we never had good depth, he couldn't draft serviceable late round picks. Maybe one or two every few years would be OK, but majority of the time, they were bad. Never made in season trades, rarely went after free agents, he would never make adjustments mid season when we had glaring needs. He sucked, good riddens
@mikegeee33197 сағат бұрын
@Supercharged007 definitely not terrible. Average yea. Missed some, hit some, but I've seen far worse GMs

This is the only matchup where we aren't the underdogs. No home field advantage, but this game its going to be an uphill battle getting to the Super Bowl. We will mist likely have to beat the Ravens or Bills and the Chiefs if we want to get to the biggest stage. I am doubtful we will get past the "Big 3" in the AFC but we are trending upwards. Win or lose this is going to be a great experience for our Chargers and I feel like we will be making a regular return to the playoffs for the next few years.

I grew up a San Diego fan when we had LT, Rivers, and gates. I was like 8. I remember losing to the jets and being so sad. It’s almost like that game cursed us. This year is the first year the bolts exceeded my expectations. I’ve grown accustomed to mediocre seasons. But this year is different, we’re built for any situation. We ain’t running from nobody. I think we’re gunna shake things up more than people think. Let’s go bolts!

Feels exciting, but because of the history (Fan since 1977), I still have a "I'll believe it when I see it." approach. Been heartbroken way too often almost 50 years now. We've had great players and even great coaches, but something, a bad call, a bad bounce and we back to "well, maybe next year." So, holding my breath and following all my superstitions. I will be routing as hard as I possibly can, not wanting to be a downer, just been conditioned to be let down.

Hoping Palmer can play on Saturday, would be helpful to have our top 3 WR against this tough Texans secondary. Don’t underestimate that unit, but regardless if he plays or not the run game has to be effective so that we can have Herb keep his hot streak going with PA. Hopeful that Herb and Mack get their first playoff win⚡️ the fan base needs at least one playoff win
@alancleary46606 сағат бұрын
Palmer is out with a foot injury, QJ is questionable. We damn sure need him. Semi looks like he'll be playing. They cut McFadden, of all things!! They didn't say why though. TEXAN'S offense has been struggling Big time the last 4 games, so that's great! Cj not thrown more than 200 yds the last 4 games. Running game is way off too!

Director, I generally do not agree with your characterizations that Herbert gets "hot" or "cold". IMO, he nearly always balls out, and whenever "cold" spots happen it is due to injuries around him (WRs, Oline, etc), or he's the one injured bad but still playing, or the play calling is pedestrian. No matter how "Hot" Herbert plays, he can't single handedly elevate frozen play around him.
@RonDaSantis9 сағат бұрын
We can beat the Texans. And we can beat the chiefs after that. We would probably lose at the AFC championship against either the ravens or the bills. But if we even make it to the AFC championship then watch out because next year are going to win the Super Bowl.
