I cannot excuse the playoff loss to not having a home crowd. As long as the Chargers' center and guards cannot recognize and snuff out stunting edge rushers the offense will be Herbert running for his life and hoping that his receiver will actually catch the ball this time. That is on either the coaching or the individual players. The defense did their job, but the interior offensive line and every receiver but McConkey failed to do their jobs. We desperately need interior o-line help, an effective tight end and wide receivers who can be relied on.

Agreed the Bolts were in Salary cap hell so the fans are fortunate enough that a great coach was willing to accept this job. So this resulted in a ragtag Interior Oline. Even with that they got a playoff experience when the haters said this wouldn’t happen. The chargers a future is bright

IOL needs the most attention. That Texans game would’ve looked different if our up the middle runs got more than 2.8 yards a carry. WR and TE talent would be nice too

This is a rather young team now and I would rather have the team go together than the mess we have had for years of trying to mix players in here and there and then ego's make it hard to make it work.

Our interior line is Swiss cheese. Stop, overlooking it, I don’t care if Bozeman is a great person, he’s going to get Herbert hurt. Pipkins got Herbert hurt in 23 he’s the reason why that broncos d line killed him and broke his fingers. And I don’t care if Zion Johnson is a damn scholar, he can’t block period! We need Ball players who can play the position, fuck it if they’re a good person or smart! Play the damn role. Also being at home is great and all, but let’s be real the Chargers have been playing away games for a long time now, being at home for a playoff game doesn’t fix our offensive line.

We are so far away from going on a deep run in the playoffs. Taking care of the football seems obvious but if we can get real for a min....we need interior O-Line, we need a better group of RBs, TE's and WR's. On the Def side we need actual edge rushers, and Secondary. But yeah let talk about taking care of the football. Herbert had very few picks during the season of playing sub par teams, then he plays on OK team and tosses 4 in one game haha ( we all know they all were not on him ) but we have a long way to go

For a lot of the plays there was only Herbert in the backfield. Backs could have been used as runners, blockers, or screen passes. Houston didn't have to guess what the bolts were going to do.

Not only did they get the eventual Champions as their "reward" for being #1 for half the season, but they also had to wait just shy of a full month to play a game. That is NOT an advantage. Very painful ending to very fun seasons.

This will not happen. Get used to it. Not enough money this year what you take the needed Slater extension and signing our own important FAs. This was a three year plan and next year they have even more cap money to play with.

@ there is an avenue that works where we land Tee, extend Slater , find a good guard in FA and bring back Jk - who I believe is the only FA we need to bring back next year. Like money said in this video, Slater will be looking at an upward of $20M/yr and Tee would most likely be $30/YR. Not sure if anyone else will restructure their contracts, although I’d love to see Herbert restructure his in order to add more pieces to this roster. I think everything else will be addressed in the draft. Plus, we have 3 compensatory picks 4,5,6th rounds which either can be leveraged in trades or used for depth.

@JMonneeyy The kid has never stayed healthy for a full season. I watched him get planted on his ass trying to block and Herb got blasted. He doesn't have a strong base. It makes him injury prone and effects his longevity as A back NTM, he can't anchor well when blocking. The kid has skills, but his body isn't durable enough for the position.
