Because here water and steam mix directly so, chances of water hammering is more due to directly mix up, to compensate them need to more strength as compared any parts only one phase is available.

I have one doubt. During charging of HP heater, hammering sound came from drip drain to deaerator line.. why this sound coming and why that drip drain directly goes to deaerator?? From that deareator drain will goes to condenser or not?? Please clear my doubt
