Charice sounds like she has a wonderful recorded voice, but in this performance, at least (I haven't listened to anything else of hers), she sounds really screechy and sharp. Kind of like she's screaming. I understand, though, that live performances are really difficult, though, so I still admire her for taking on a high harmony to such a difficult song

Each on their own are great. However when signers don't try to listen to each other so they can adjust, parts for the song sound more like a screaming match. Love both the signers, but not one of their best performances.

Individually they're both very good singers although let's be honest, Charice while an awesome voice just doesn't do this duet as wel as Arnel who's used to performing this professionally as a soloist or at least front man for a band. Arnel has an ability and is skilled and experienced at singing various music styles from rock, pop and rock ballads. Charice, is good at singing songs suited for her such as Celine Dion or Whitney Houston which highlights Charice's vocal range NOT her vocal abilities. Tone, clarity and smoothness goes to Arnel. Charice was good in some parts but the areas where she had to keep in harmony with Arnel she was bad. Agree to disagree but Arnel is a talented , skilled and experienced profressional while Charice is a naturally talented homegrown glorified lounge singer.

well, i'm sure you are a black, try to view black singers, patty label, jennifer hudson etc. they are using falsetto in that high part. chairce here is not using falsetto, that hight part is difficult that only gifted vocal can do it.

i think this is why Charice can't seem to get to the top with her career because every time she try hard to hit those high notes, we all know that she can sing but most of the time she screams. this was not a great duet, great singers knows how to complement each other not out sing each other.....smh

@ musi cheals..first off it is very racist to say "I'm sure you are A BLACK" just for future. A comment like that is not cool! Now I am not a fan of Patti Labellle, Jennifer Hudson etc. I am a singer though and know what I am talking about. Although Chanice MAYBE a good singer, here in this video she is NOT! The high part in this song is hard for SOME voices. She is screaming not singing which is not pleasing to the ear and not SAFE for her voice! Arnel on the other hand is a much better singer!
