This is my all-time favorite cover of All By Myself. Charice was only 17 at this time but was already a stand out at an even younger age. Her tone is amazing and she belted out songs incredibly for her young age. One of the gems of the Philippines. When David Foster mentors you…you gotta be at the top. Been a fan for ages. Charice had a pretty successful career overseas. She had an album that entered the Billboard charts. She appeared on Ellen, Oprah, Glee and had a series of concerts with David Foster in different countries.

Thank you both for taking time out to react to this YT classic. True, this was 1 of many performances that evening by other artists in David Foster's repertoir. You're right about each artist having their own take of this classic power ballad-70s rock Eric Carmen's originally, based on Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 in C Minor Op. 18 which you heard in the piano bridge.
