How do you get to pray in tongues? Is it true that prayer alone will not prevent us from going into a dry place,there needs to be prayer in tongues?

Just praise the Lord! Nothing evil stays when you praise the Lord! If you want the gift of praying in tongues, call the prayer line. They will help you!
