And yet..Jesus Christ's own words were: 'Blessed are the poor, for they shall see God..'. Jesus Himself was poor..the Son of Man has nowhere to lay down His head.. 'Breaking the poverty mentality?' - said Jesus never.

The prosperity doctrine is not in the Scriptures as understood by the churches that were written to. If they were then the prosperity message would not magically appear in various times and places, and, instead it would have been found consistently in Christian documents. Phrases like, "I know you're poverty, and yet you are rich", shows the absolute stupidity of current Charismania. America has never really gone through severe persecution, which often purifies the Church and its stupid ideas. But someday it might and all these teachings will once again go the way of things extinct.
