BRAVO, Emmerdale! On the right track here, finally!! Keep up the good work!! Slow and steady... loving the eye contact!! These two are dynamite together and don't even need to utter a word!! That's chemistry!! And is it just me, or did I detect a bit of... protectiveness oozing out of Vanessa's eyes when Al was seemingly threatening Charity? A bit of an old lover's: "I can say what I want about her, but don't YOU dare threaten her."? Now THAT kind of thing could bring Vanessa's protective, feisty spirit to the forefront and smash those walls of anger and indifference to smithereens, before she even realized what happened!!! Love to see just THAT!! Vanessa come riding up on her high horse to Charity's rescue!!! And Ooo, I like Rhona's mother... quite an entertaining and intriguing spitfire there. "Lady is a dog's name." Loved it!! Kudos to whoever wrote THAT line!! Mary seems a bit like Vanessa and Charity all rolled into one. LOL. Could be irritating, but Mary just might be the bearer of the kind of straight talk Vanessa needs to hear, once she trains her keen eye on what's going on between those two? I certainly hope so!! Giving us hope, once again, Emmerdale. Please don't blow it!! Oh and close call there... Charity was so wrapped up in thinking of Vanessa, she almost let the cat out the bag!! Sure wasn't Mac's number she was staring at and... agonizing over, now was it? Bravo, Emmerdale!!!

When did Vanessa say she did nothing wrong and it was all Charity’s fault? She said herself it was a mistake and clearly felt guilty after seeing Mack the day after the near-kiss. Yes she’s harder on Charity than on herself but it makes sense since not only does Charity seem to have no remorse about nearly cheating on Mack, she continued to try to pursue Vanessa before Mack ended it.

Ouch ! People who ship Charity with the brat used to irritate me. Now I just feel sorry for them lol. She forgot his whole existence now that her brain is on full " Vanessa mode ". But I think she is finally doing it the right way by giving her space and handling it in a more collected and mature way. Even though, her whole body is screaming for her. Vanessa, for the love of God please talk to her and stop torturing yourself. I heard Marlon will be having a stroke next week. I hope he'll be fine. I really love him. Plus, I want to see the 3 couples ( The vets dating the Dingles) having a couples night together. Would be fun to watch.

I honestly wish that Vanessa would of had someone by her side as a girlfriend when she would have started to feel these feelings torch Charity. That would of have made this storyline much more interesting and created much more drama out of it. Whole that Vanessa's girlfriend storyline was such a downer and I don't know what the writers were thinking about.

Observation, did vanity have any bedroom scenes (for want of a better word/s) Charity has always had them. Even Charity and Marlon when they were at it, had quite a fruity scene. Charity lying naked on a sofa, covered with a flimsy blanket and Marlon naked wearing his apron. (Charity sure likes her cousins🤮) lol.

Yes 12th September 2018, but it's not a scene you might think to is. It happened after Bails was sent down. Very emotional for Charity👍

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but to my knowledge, they did not have any bedroom scenes in the vain your question suggests. There was one scene, after Bail's trial, when they were fully clothed lying on Charity's bed. Vanessa was spooned behind her, talking about how Bails got what he deserved and how proud she was of Charity, I believe. But Charity was silently crying, going through some very heavy emotional baggage leftover from the trial and dredging up all that history, which even she didn't understand at the time. So it was not a "bedroom scene", per say. Closest I ever remember them getting to that was... maybe Vanessa pulling Charity's blazer down on her arms, trapping them, in the kitchen of Debbie's house. Vanessa was quite EAGER, for awhile there, because she was distracting herself from memories of her father's passing, around Christmas time. But, as was always the case with them, they were interrupted, even before she could get one button undone on Charity's blouse. Dang it!! Quite a scene though, if you use your imagination. LOL. Check out 'Charity Dingle & Vanessa Woodfield, every single part'. There's eight or nine of them and... well worth watching!! And no, I have nothing to do with those. I've just watched them MANY times.

@@alisonselway5740 You and me both! It would be extremely nauseating at this point!!! Especially so, knowing where her heart truly lies. It would be cruel of Emmerdale to do that. And I'd find it quite unrealistic and unbelievable!! Charity is SOOO over him and into Vanessa. Heck, she never got over Vanessa. And Imo, she's NOT, as Vanessa claimed, just wanting what she can't have. It's from feeling what she always has wanted and needed, but made a mess of, is within her grasp once again and she desperately wants to reclaim that life and that person who made her happy and is, in her own words, the love of her life!! Mac manipulated his way into Charity's bed and life, she never truly wanted him there. She always treated him more like... "What the hell... it's better than nothing..." Matter of fact, she uttered the first two words before she even slept with him the first time, which was for all intents and purposes at that time, a one time thing. She went months fending off his advances before she gave in again. Sorry, so long, I got carried away! "Hope springs eternal, in the mind of a fool". And I am, unfortunately, that kind of fool.
