There is also a good chance that the guy that beat you to The Simpsons game may now be enjoying playing it instead of trying to flip it. Not everyone goes to Charity shops looking to try and make a profit, some go to pick up cheap games to actually enjoy playing them.

If it doesnt say on the bottom of the cover: requies download content, ten the whole game is on a disc. Try to go offline and install them. They will work but without patches.

My thoughts exactly, think your man in th videos got some crossed wires. Surely complete, gold and goty editions of games will be the best and most up to date version on disc with patches already applied?

So these folks are often volunteers - they don’t know what might be a fake or not. I bought a 96 Barcelona shirt on eBay. It was a great price. I knew it was fake. The seller didn’t. It happens.

The irony is, if you kept the PS5, you’d be buying games that are actually on the disc. I sold my series x for the exact same reason and because I only used it for Fifa.

No they aint...its a code for the multiplatform titles on every console. Very few sony titles come complete on the disc

@@sammorrow7007 yes they do. I’ve tested it for myself and they work without connecting to the internet. Games that don’t/won’t have to specify that an internet connection is required.

The current back catalogue of games on all possible handhelds, consoles, home computers...either direct or via emulation...is so massive...must be hundreds of games I still want to play Thats frankly enough for me so not really into 'modern' consoles... Same reason I have an extensive Lp/ Cd collection and rarely interested in buying new releases...I have acces to so much brilliant music albums and collections from what I already own and theres only one lifetime to fully appreciate whats in there

Forza Motorsport 6 isn't on Xbox Game pass, I believe you're mixing it up with the Forza Motorsport (2023), and Forza Motorsport 6 isn't available digitally anymore either, so you can only play it physical unless you already bought it digitally before it was delisted.

it used to be that you'd get 2/3rd of the price for exchanging and 50% cash. Most Cex Employees agree its a crap practice. When I picked up a wii-u a year ago the guy asked if I wanted to buy any games with it, and I just said nah I'm gonna put custom firmware on it and he agreed that was a better option,

I understand that businesses no matter how big or small have to make a profit and I'm cool with that, but to put a 150% mark up on an item is disgusting. Channels like this one don't exactly help the situation either, giving a shady company like cex free advertising but not calling them out for the bs practises is exactly what's wrong in the gaming circles.

Emulation is the only tool gamers have for game preservation. Buy the games to support the developers if you can. Regardless we should all strive to keep them for future generations digitally in their complete package as much as possible. As for the fakes, you could say they are fake and should be priced as such yes. If they STILL don't care, then you know what kind of people you are working with.

I have never seen a decent game in a charity shop near me, its always fodder games and everything is marked up to CEX prices so getting a bargain has never happened. Makes you wonder if these amazing deals KZbinrs (Talking generally here) claim to find are just hooks to get us clicking on videos.

Surely any xbox one or ps4 game will still work on the console 20 years on as long as the game doesnt require an update or network features. To test it, if you insert a game with your internet off and are able to install and play successfully then surely that game will always work. Why wouldnt it and whos gonna stop it? Interested in anything people have to say about it. If im missing sonething let me know....?

BTW off topic slightly but I'm not bothered if he bought it with money inside or outside of the youtube series- I don't really get why KZbinrs have a running 'kitty' for buying games and call it a 'challenge' etc. To me, if he's bought a game or console and sold it for a lot less, it's still a loss to consider. If he's had the console for a few years though, then selling it for nearly £400 isn't that bad I guess.

Xbox one games are all on disc to about 2017...after that its a lottery...top tip creed unity is all on disc. If you install on series x without updating you can play it unlocked framerate

Cheers, mate. very good videos. You are very informative. Thanks to you, I got rid of two xbox 360 rarities to cex and got close to 80 pounds trade in. I walked out with multiple bluray boxsets a few anime boxsets too. And of course, more video games that two of which have been on my wishlist for a long time, assassin's creed mirage and Elden ring both for xbox series x. Seriously unless I change a lot of visual settings on my TV, the ps5 looks incredibly grainy. I find I have to keep reminding myself I have a digital ps5 with two years' worth of ps+extra, and even then, I'm always on my xbox it's so much faster overall. Feel really let down, I've been a playstation fan since owning my first ps1, but the ps5 is kind of a joke.

I dont know about Xbox but several people have debunked the theory that PS4/PS5 just have a license code on the physical disc and are not a full copy of the game. They say some games dont work and obviously any online specific content/maps wont either but a large percentage will play fine of the disc although more buggy due to the absense of patches.

@@SecretOfMonkeyIsland784 This. There are even games on Xbox that are the definitive editions as they have the content on the discs as opposed to Playstation that have dlc codes for a portion of it. Cyberpunk ultimate edition and Mortal Kombat 11 being 2 examples of this.

Neeson, TVM doesn't know who you are. He doesn't know what you want. If you are looking for new and sealed game collecting I can tell you he doesn't have the money. But what he does have is a very particular set of consoles. Consoles he has acquired from a very long series of car boot sales. Consoles that will play Little Nightmares for people like you. If you let your criticism go now that'll be the end of it. He will not look for you. He will not pursue you. You will definitely regret getting rid of yr ps5 and sticking with Xbox, I have both and the only good point of Xbox is the games are cheaper and Forza and even Forza is supposed to be going to ps5. I'm on my 3rd controller in 1 and half years on Xbox and I don't even play that much bloody stick drift, also I've never had a console the crashes so much my ps5 just feel way better quality it's just a shame psplus is £60 essential and Xbox core I think is £50

You’re definitely some big fan of Xbox if you only care about those specific consoles lol I don’t get the point of getting a console in the first place and you never end up playing it💀💀this is why I stick to one console I’m comfortable with and I don’t just buy a console for only exclusives, if you knew you weren’t gonna play the console with those games, that’s just sad you bought it in the first place
