How do none of these players,who I assume are high elo, never seem to hear where his shadowsteps land? I do get it's a highlight edit but I'm surprised it happens like ever.

It actually happens quite often, the problem is if you look at every clip where I've did that type of a play - you'll notice that these plays are performed when there's shitload of noise happening (gunshots, abilities, etc.) and these noises completely override the sound of shrouded's step ending point! ^^ PS. All of these players in clips are at least TOP 2000 on the ladder and the key is to pick the right moment...

It feels like I lose a lot of my peek battles even though i think I’m doing everything the right way (away from angle, maximum speed peek, fast counter strafe + shot) Can you give any tips on securing the kill when the peek is sorta right? Most of the time I get one tapped before I can land a second shot

wait? no clips on breeze?😂😂😂 i was married to omen till that map came along. now I play viper on 4/7 maps. I might switch back to omen for fracture tho. omen is great but I just love to play as a rat and as viper the phantom just one taps people when they run through your wall. I just hope we get split back soon - instead of bind. don't care if viper is good on split or not. split is omen town. lovely content as always. quality over quantity

isn't viper better on fracture? Although Omen has good A execute options, attacking B site with him is always a struggle, at least for me.

I love vipers stalling potential but I'm really missing playing on top of boxes and gen on b defense. viper has some nice options to attack b from both sides (very easy tower orb lineup from arcade) and you can still have a brimstone on the team. with omen from b arcade you can tp under rope and you just have to work the site in a more traditional way. attacking a from dish (a split) can be a bit frustrating tho when your team ain't patient. I need to take dish control to throw a smoke orb on rope with a teammate while the others take main and then you quickly execute site. I dropped from ascendant to plat2 and now I'm back in dia. In those low plat lobbies such an attack is frustrating to coordinate. it has gotten better in dia tho. with omen I can try to take matters more into my own hands instead of setting my team up and 'helping out' with viper I really need to value my life as dying while we are taking site means my smokes are dropping shortly. If you're full executing a site on a ascend and your team is scared you can just put your smokes down, flash and entry. it sucks that you can't play like that with viper on fracture unless someone else is playing brim/omen. when someone does I love putting up a B wall from arcade almost every round. I can use it to fake, lurk into underpass or push b. idk, guess I really enjoy viper but might switch back if these frustrations keep up as I climb back up. I probably should learn a few lineups in the meantime tho as I just have orb lineups. It's kinda a pain on 1440x1080 tho. enjoy the read lol

@@jacquesblack3080 I'm hardstuck gold, but it's kind of comforting to know even diamonds share a similar struggle when it comes to playing smokes. It's one of the main reasons I exclusively play Omen as my smoke (except in breeze where I only play viper as my controller pick); Getting my team to time their moves with my smokes is such a struggle, but omen's kit helps patch those issues. - If my smokes are used but my team doesn't go in, i can just tell them to wait for my smokes to regen for another attempt somewhere else on the map. - if the enemies can't really stall our attack but my duelists just aren't entrying like the pussies they are, I can play aggressive with my flash and tp to open up the site myself. - Also, omen smokes can be freely placed anywhere as needed, which is something I can't successfully do with viper unless I am prepared with lineups for mid control orb for example.
