@anthonyb6744
@anthonyb6744 11 ай бұрын
@patriciajemmottjemmott3162 just because he wasn't famous yet doesn't mean he wasn't somebody in his city or wasn't rich. A lot of these streets dudes were rich way before the fame and were celebs in their states and people knew who they were from street activities. The street validation is just as powerful as fame. Chicago knew who durk and von were years before they were famous, Jeezy was a millionaire before rap due to BMF, 50 cent was rich before fame and NY knew who he was years before we did, 21 savage was a millionaire before rap fame and ATL knew him as a heavy drug dealer in the streets who sold to all the rappers and the list goes on and on. You don't have to be known world wide to be popular somewhere or be rich.

@@TheBasher-_-I agree. They are present. I think they may not have been a “father” compared to what is projected as normal. I tend to think that they did fatherhood to their degree or understanding. No perfect dads. But we need to appreciate fathers more. The pressure is high and many get treated as if they’re not doing enough. Many beat themselves and risk their lives striving hard in one way or another. So unless you just flat out disown or provide a child and not abuse them, 👏🏾

A real father is one who works and takes care of the children he created nothing more nothing less ..you can be a mentor for guidance for other kids but that's it .being a father sets forth for obedience..kids that don't belong to you will never be obedient..women are different..to nurture can be expressed in various of ways it's an emotional trait .women are capable of being vulnerable with kids that's how she gains their trust...raise your kids and your kids only ..don't foster a kid don't take care of ya homeboys kids ..your reward is granted by the success you have following your own seed

I hate when Charlemagne talks about the development of the frontal cortex by 25 and it being the reasoning for somebody then making viable decisions. There are people out here that are still making the absolute wrong decisions. So what do you mean?

Yes, this! There's a huge psycho-social component to our cognitive, behavioral, personality, and emotional development that is not entirely dependent on our biological maturation. If one is nurtured properly in all of these domains, one doesn't have to have a fully developed frontal cortex in order to make good decisions. Biological determinism is not it.

For anyone willing to listen, this dude also said "I done came a long way from up the road. Daddy up in jail, long ways up the road. I'm from the streets my nigga, but my son won't be from there. Spent half my life inside the streets. I still don't even care cause I stacked that money high. I gotta thank God that I made a way. I could've messed up my life, spent hours late through the night. It could be worse, I'm thanking God I'm the one who was saved...Had to run up all this money for my kids, I'm suicidal. All these dead men be speaking to me saying, "Go get some more"" This dude definitely provides for his children, but he doesn't make himself available all the time. This is still an issue, but there are tons of great fathers that aren't always there. My uncle is only home one week out of the month and he's a good father from my experience. Is he a bad guy because he wasn't willing to find a way to make the same money while staying home? Or because he didn't settle for having less stuff? I'm personally the type of guy that NEEDS his alone time, so I can definitely see myself distancing myself for hours at a time. I can't hate on bro for needing more alone time. He legit said in the interview that being alone keeps him sane. He never said he don't love his kids and he never said he don't take care of them. Yb is obviously not a Saint, and should be no one's role model. But the way his mind works is very interesting. All sin weighs the same and GOD has zero taste for the lukewarm. We shouldn't be so quick to judge as everyone's circumstances are different and something can be learned from everyone.
