Ebro approached Charlemagne at this particular event for a reason. Ebro thought Kaepernick's 'Know Your Right's' campaign (*whose goal is to raise awareness on higher education, self empowerment, and provide instruction for youth on how to properly interact with law enforcement*) was a good chance to show, publicly, that two feuding urban-market-radio titans could squash differences (at least for one day) for a good cause. Ebro took the high road. Charlemagne obviously saw it as a good gossip for the next day's broadcast.

I'm a fan of Charlamagne but in this case he's not presenting the full facts. He's correct, he met Ebro at Colin Kaepernick's "Know Your Rights" event, the event organiser saw the photo as an opportunity to get more exposure for the cause. Ebro was willing to put aside their differences for the bigger cause, Charlamagne was not and didn't want to do the photo and that's his right but imo, if you say you're going to stand up for a cause and not be willing to set aside some shit to help push the cause, just seems kind of small minded to me.
