The American, radio and TV host , Charlamagne the God, has been speaking his experience in Ghana during the Christmas holiday .
Although he did enjoyed the Ghanaian culture, especially the nightlife, he had some reservation about the quality of service in the country ’s hospitality

Please it’s called Ghanaman time! Or African time! We take our time and the foods are mostly made from scratch and not premade like a lot of American foods. I miss Ghana.

the reason it takes a long at the restaurant is that Ghanaians love their food fresh so when u order it's mostly freshly prepared. I mean not all restaurants. the most extended wait I have in any Restaurant in Ghana is 30min. I guess Charlam got screwed that day. lol

Yeah, you have a point on that. but bro trust me customer service and Ghana 🇬🇭 is very poor and I believe this is the time they need to step up their game.

@@goldentv3256 My entire family was at Ike’s in Kumasi on New Year’s Eve in 2022 and after hours we left without being served. We were able to get a take out after hours. The problem was poor supervision. The waiters are inexperienced and could use guidance but no leadership was in sight.

Nah bro I love Ghana with a passion but the customer service is notoriously bad. But Ghana has the most friendliest people in the world.

🐆🚶🏻‍♂️🐅 Bcus most Ghanaian restaurants don’t do precook meals. They do fresh food for you. We don’t eat processing food. Everything in there is fresh food so yeah I get it. If the customer services were poor then my opinion might be one of the reasons.

I don't know where in Ghana he dined specifically to warrant such a generalization coz i promise you it's not the duration he's stating. Charlemagne is known to exaggerate for comedic purposes.

@@FactIsFact100 oooh yes he would 😂😂 but point being, the reputation for slow service has been the same since I started visiting 10+ years ago. People there are generally easy going so it’s kind of a charming culture quirk.
